小朋友多學習中英文相反詞的好處是除了讓小朋友擴充詞彙之前, 還能夠在不同的情況之下以適切地形容不同的事情，有助他們擴充句子和寫作更詳細的文字內容。
設計這套工作紙主要曷因為當時我發現小朋友其實能夠準確地利用一些形容去描述身邊的人和事，如「叔叔很肥」。可是，當我問他:「那爸爸呢 ? 」他說:「爸爸不肥。」，很明顯他的詞彙不足夠去形容仔想描述的事情。那麼既然他已經明白 "肥" 和"不肥"，其實就已經理解什麼是 "瘦"，只是他們不夠熟識這個形容詞。
因此，我便設計了這套中英文相反詞的工作紙，去幫助他們學習如何利用更多的形容詞去表達，並以豐富的圖畫去幫助他們理解，希望你們的小朋友同樣喜歡。
