Short and Long Vowels
當小朋友學到 Long Vowels 長元音時, 我會和他們重溫Short and Long Vowels ，讓他們知道當中的分別。其實在 Level 1 - Step 3 Letter Sound >> 的時候，小朋友已經學了 Short Vowels (短元音)，Long Vowels (長元音) 只是發出字母本身的 Letter Name , 即 a 讀 a / e 讀 e。
但小朋友需要知道一些簡單的符號，這些符號是用來表演 Short and Long Vowels。符號很簡單 Short Vowel 是在字母上加一個"smile", 而 Long Vowel是在字母上加一條橫線。(如下圖)
